I was commissioned by the Minnesota Vikings to create a social media post for some new merchandise they were launching in 2022. During the process, we encountered complications with shipping. As a result, I used a placeholder hat with a similar style to meet deadlines. Their team later photoshopped the correct hat into the images.

The assignment was to capture the warmth of Charleston while embracing the cold of Minnesota. To achieve this, I knew I needed to wait for an overcast day during golden hour. The grey sky conveys the cold, while the sunlight not only adds warmth but also highlights the Vikings' iconic yellow. My husband, a native of St. Paul who previously worked for the Vikings, was the perfect model, sporting his favorite jersey. In post-production, I color graded the images to incorporate purple hues and add depth. These photos were taken with my Panasonic Lumix, edited in Lightroom, and finished in Photoshop to create the final edits and graphic.
